Our downtown has made steps towards progress with the Council decision in support of the downtown arena. There has been a setback with the Royal Alberta Museum that could be a blessing in disguise. The arena opposition has become increasingly vocal trying to urge the Government leaders to not support the project. It’s essential we remain vocal so the leaders realize the majority of people want to see the downtown arena become a reality. We need to keep this conversation public and in the media (social+traditional).- Heart of the Capital
Get Educated. Get Involved.
Heart of the Capital is a group that supports the evolution of Edmonton as a major city. One of our primary goals is to promote general education and awareness of major revitalization projects. We aim to deliver a relatively unbiased rational analysis of the projects context and a system to get educated clarifications to any questions you have regarding the project.
Once educated, we try and arm people with basic tools (posters, social media posters, etc.) to help promote a positive message and support for the project.
